Welcome to Christa's fine art paintings, an introductory gateway to the many paintings and genres by Christa during her half-century career spanning 1938 - 1988.
During the decades she signed her works as Christa Eichler, Christa Kabitz, and after 1953, Christa Sommer or simply Christa. This site was just initiated at the end of November, 2008, so check back - it will be many weeks before we finish taking and posting photographs of this very large and varied collection. Any of the works with the label "Reserve" are available. Others are owned and kept in private collections (noted where applicable). Several are in museums in Germany, where she grew up and began her career (we'll have to determine whether we are permitted to post photographs of those works in museums).
